Its the first of the month which means its time for another round of Fictional Fight Club. The only place to see your favorite characters duke it out...in your imagination at least.
But first I must announce the winner of last month's match up between Captain America and Master Chief by the margin of a single vote was
CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!!
Congrats Cap just in time for the 4th.
Now onto this month's matchup
In the Red corner we have the infamous undead serial killer JASON VOORHEES from the Friday the 13th movie series.
Jason was a mentally challenged child who was bullied at summer camp by the other kids, who eventually pushed him into the lake and let him drown. Years later Jason's mother had a psychotic breakdown and started murdering the counselors who had taken over the camp, which ended in her own death. But her death seemed to awakened the body of Jason which had been decomposing at the bottom of the lake all these years. Jason rose from the depths, transformed into a zombie behemoth. He became hell bent on continuing his mother's mission, to kill anyone foolish enough to set foot in Camp Crystal Lake.
His opponent in the Blue Corner the master of Martial Arts BRUCE LEE.
The iconic image of Bruce Lee not a character from a particular movie per say. Bruce Lee was a Chinese citizen who learned Kung Fu in his youth and used it numerous street fights. After getting into trouble with the law Bruce moved to America. In the U. S. Bruce decided to better himself, physically and mentally, he showcased his near super human speed and strength at numerous martial arts expos, as well as studying philosophy in university. Eventually Bruce created a new fighting style designed to be simplistic, effective, and to keep the opponent off balance. He named the new style Jeet Kun Do, the way of the intercepting fist.
THE HISTORY
So this probably seems like a little bit of weird match up, considering one of the fighters isn't fictional, but there is a reasoning behind it. In high school we had to write about who our hero was and why. I said Bruce Lee and the guy next to me said Jason Voorhees, which is sad. But what followed was a debate about who truly was better. So now you guys can settle it once and for all.
THE BREAKDOWN
Jason Voorhees
POWERS & ABILITIES
-Enhanced Strength
-Seemingly Immortal, can survive from nearly any injury.
WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
- His trademark machete.
ADVANTAGES
-His apparent immortality. Jason has survived being shot, stabbed, burned, electrocuted, and anything else you could think of. This guy is insanely hard to kill, but that doesn't make him invincible.
Bruce Lee
POWERS & ABILITIES
-Enhanced strength, speed, and endurance
-Expert in hand to hand combat
WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
-2 pairs of wooden nunchaku
ADVANTAGES
-Experience, whether in film or reality Bruce Lee has been in more fights than you can count. He is often seen taking own swarms of attackers both armed and unarmed. Fighting wise Jason isn't going to be able to do anything Bruce hasn't seen before.
-Intelligence Jason was mentally handicapped and his brain is literally rotting. Bruce Lee is not only very smart but will be able to analyze his environment and his opponent and possibly exploit a weakness.
THE SCENARIO
Bruce Lee is driving in the woods in the middle of the night when his car breaks down. He spots an abandoned camp down the road and decides to seek shelter. As soon as Bruce enters the camp ground Jason starts to stalk him. Bruce senses Jason's presence and avoids Jason's killing blow. The two then square off face to face. The campground is littered with tree branches, rusty pipes, and numerous other weapons that could be used as potential weapons.
So now its up to you. Who do you see coming out on top in this battle to the death?

Here comes the hate.
This is too easy. Jason has survived being shot many many times.
It only took one bullet to end bruce lee.
Jason wins.

Bruce Lee can only kick Jason's ass for so long. Even the great Bruce Lee will eventually wear down because Jason will just keep getting back up. The only way to beat Jason is to trap Jason in which Bruce Lee will probably figure out early. And another way is to sever all of Jason's limbs. I'm sure Bruce would have a sword in the trunk of his car. But if it's strictly a fight where neither fighter can escape I'll say Jason wins. His limbs do regenerate right?

I wanna say Bruce lee but as Jason is immortal he will keep on coming for him even after Bruce has killed him.
But I'm still voting Bruce as immortality should not be a factor IMO

This is an interesting match-up. Speed vs. Brute force.
If Bruce Lee can get the fight near water he could have a chance. If not, Jason would get the upper hand.

No, this is a bad choice because the immortality aspect has been included. On a fair standing fight, Bruce would likely maul Jason because he has every physical advantage over him minus strength. However, if Jason just keeps getting back up, then even the strongest man will eventually tire and fall to an immortal zombie like being.
Inb4 Hurr teenage girls killed him!!1111. Those circumstances are always ridiculous, and he always comes back tougher and meaner every time.
Champion titled Liu Kang honestly would have been a better choice. He is based off of Bruce, has a certain degree of immortality himself, and at least has the ability to potentially burn Jason to ashes. Not that I particularly Like Liu. It's just the fairest fight I can see between a Bruce Lee esque character and a redundant horror film character.

This is a one sided battle here, I think. Bruce would literally have to rip Jason apart. Otherwise, Jason is eventually gonna eliminate Bruce.
Although Bruce might have a chance if they are near a lake. In Freddy vs. Jason, the kids use the lake to kill Jason because of his supposed fear of water. Freddy also beats Jason up pretty badly before hand, too. So if that aspect is introduced, then I would say Bruce because he is smart enough to eventually figure out Jason's weakness. Otherwise Jason is going to dominate.

Well I figured Bruce Lee had become iconographic that his image could be considered fiction-ish. Plus its been years since I had that debate and I've been wanting closure and so I figured why not here.
But the cases I always made for Bruce to be triumphant is that
1. Bruce Lee isn't all about kicking and punching. I know that he knew many moves and holds designed to break bones or maim an opponent. Imagine how tough Jason would be with a broken knee cap or an arm that's been snapped in half. And Jason couldn't just shake those injuries off like everything else, because he physically needs his knee to walk, and his arm to swing his machete.
2. Jason is decomposing. Ordinarily this seems to help Jason, because bullets and knives aren't going to stop someone who has no need for vital organs, but his body's physical structure would be weakened by years of rotting. This would make his flesh easier to tear bones easier to dislocate. Thus making Bruce's maiming techniques more effective.
3. Bruce Lee was vicious. He was never beyond biting or scratching an opponent, especially in a manner of life and death. I have no doubt that if he needed to he could rip Jason's head off. And I mean literally rip off his head. I mean dig into his flesh until he gets to Jason's spine and then snap it off of his shoulders.
I always figured that this was a strange but interesting fight, and I didn't expect you guys to find it so one sided lol

All Bruce lee could hope to manage against Jason is to delay him. Jason doesnt need arms or legs. They grow back magically after a lightning storm. Its proven fact. Maybe if this matchup was Jason vs chuck Norris...

But who killed Chuck Norris?
And even his limbs do grow back it would take him quite awhile. If Bruce Lee can beat Jason to a bloody pulp, who cares if he comes back. By the time he does Bruce will be gone and Jason will be somebody else's problem. to deal with.

That's what I was thinking. That if he could beat him badly enough to escape, that he would win the fight. Since Jason can't die.

A very compelling point. No one said Jason had to die. And he doesnt track down the people who have stopped him. Im rethinking my stance.

I just remembered that there is a sword on the battlefield, if you count Jason's machete as a sword at least. Either way if Bruce Lee could somehow get his hands on it then I'd say the fight would end rather quickly, with Jason hacked to bits in a pile on the ground.

Rape thread. Jason can take like 50+ Bullets and still live along with Superhuman strength.

Well if you just watch what you say, you won't get skulled. I don't even know what skull you're talking about. You keep bringing it up, but I don't see what you're talking about.
As for the thread, this is honestly no contest. Bruce Lee would sadly get crushed. I love Lee, but he's not immortal, man. Jason will never lose, and he'd kill Lee just by punching him in the face.

In The Final Friday: Jason Goes To Hell, the military exploded Jason with bombs, and literally his brain moved around and possessed people until he was reborn.

Jason will keep coming back to life. So far he has never stayed dead no matter who killed him. But he's never gotten killed by Bruce Lee, because if he did, we'd never hear of him again. In this fight, Jason would take on the role of the victim for once. It would be a massacre.

I'm gonna go Bruce because Jason is to slow for him. not to mention Bruce could probably take the machete away from him and cut him in half.

The problem is, cutting Jason in half is pretty much useless.
This is a stupid pairing, I'm afraid, like it's been previously said.
Jason wins, but it's stupid.

Oh and since I never voted, I vote Bruce Lee.
