It's the first of August and time for another Fictional Fight Club.

But first to announce the winner of last month's battle. In a (controversial?) thread you guys voted that Bruce Lee would Kung Fu kick Jason's ass.




Now for this month's fight we have a battle of giants, as two of fictions most famous heavyweights duke it out for monstrous supremacy.

In the Red Corner we have the mysterious Master of Madness. CTHULU!


Cthulu is a demonic being from another dimension whose soul purpose is to cause chaos and madness wherever he goes. He is currently trapped in a city at the bottom of the ocean, but his thousands of worshippers worldwide will not stop until Cthulu is free and able to reign on Earth.

His challenger standing in the Blue Corner is the current King of the Monsters. GODZILLA!


Godzilla was an ancient dinosaur trapped in ice when the nuclear bombs hit Japan. The radiation caused the creature to awaken and mutate into the monster we now know as Godzilla. Godzilla has gone on several rampages throughout the decades and as caused untold destruction. But he has saved the world just as many times as he has threatened it. Godzilla is not a force of good or evil, but rather a true force of nature.

THE BREAKDOWN

Cthulu

POWERS & ABILITIES
-Flight
-Has the ability to cause madness in people and force them to do his bidding
-Can shoot lighting from his hands (according to South Park)
-Many other vague and evil powers that he has not yet showcased.

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
-Claws
-Tentacles

ADVANTAGES
-Intelligence, Cthulu is not just a wretched monster. He is a cunning and manipulative genius. These traits could very easily lead him to victory.

Godzilla

POWERS & ABILITIES
-Atomic Breath. Despite what many of you may think he does not breath fire. He is able to shoot out a small concentrated beam of nuclear energy, which is essentially a miniaturized nuclear bomb.
-Nigh Indestructible. Godzilla as been hit with and survived nearly every man made, and many non man made, weapon you can think of.

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
-Claws
-Teeth
-Whip like Tail.

ADVANTAGES
-Experience. While Cthulu's battle is unknown Godzilla's is well documented. He has been in a hundred bouts since his debut and has won most of them. Even if Cthulu is a great fighter he has been out of practice for a few thousand years.

THE SCENARIO
The Cult of Cthulu as finally managed to unleash Cthulu onto the world, and the dark one is flying around the world spreading chaos. Godzilla, being all territorial and what not, doesn't like the idea of another Giant Monster coming in on his turf. Cthulu arrives in Kyoto is causing mayhem when Godzilla arrives and the two face off. This is just a one on one fight. Cthulu's minions and Godzilla's friends are off battling each other around the world. Leaving these two to fight mano y mano.
