Why'd you change the thread to say fighting game?

because i thought about it and realized that some games really use soundtracks with actual songs. and fighting games have a different type of soundtrack.it makes it a lot more fair competition

That is, of course if you overlook the fact that the X-Box allows people to make their own soundtracks.

But to answer your question: either Super Street Fighter 2 or the Guilty Gear series.

Fighting game:

Probably the Power Instinct series. Especially Matrimelee: New Power Instinct. Some of those songs are not only hilarious, but catchy as hell.

I agree. Street fighter alpha 2 had the best soundtrack. Sagat's theme owned.

what i also liked about the game is that the sound effects fitted. for instance kens stage. he constantly yells shoryuken or hadoken or whatever and it doesnt interfer with the music on the contrary it adds to it

I can't belive nobody has said Tekken2 yet. I loved all of those stage soundtracks. Tekken wasn't bad either, but T2 is still a little better.

I was thinking the same until I saw your post.

Ahhh, damn right.

Killer Instinct soundtracks rule.
Just the opening theme of KI Gold is better then anything i have heared yet.

Then again, the caracter select theme from mk1 is very good and original too

The KI series has the best tracks for a fighting game.
