FF8's all good. Too many androgynous characters though. Final Boss was kind of a let down after the pure awsomeness that is Sephiroth.

u know i agree i dont get y every 1 likes ff7.. i thought it was good but 8,9,10 r way better and FF6 is the best of them all though!!!!! the only thing i can think of is ff7 was their 1st final fantasy..so it could be y they love it the most.. but to make a movie about it..grr i would be 1 happy sob if they rather made a movie about ff6!!!

I never play ff7 so I like 8 more ive seen 7 i didn't really think it was all cool. U think ff8's boss was a let down screw that shit I though 10's was a let down lol

ff8's took me about 20 times cuz my characters levels were like only 50 lol but im awesome I beat her with 2 characters Squal and RIona. Zell did kamikaze damn Jap wanna be lol. :-p It was awesome I would of never did it without Lion Heart. That game was fun.

10's was easy cast zombie then throw a life at him the end and u couldn't die lol

I hate FF8 because that bitch girl boss queen dressed in black person killed me in ONE hit every time with death.

Well then equip 100 deaths to your status defence, then death will have no effect on you.

Well FF8 was/is my favorite installment (well until I play 6 one of these days). I too will agree that 7 can arguably is a bit superior to 8, but in my case too many people ruined 7 for me before I got a chance to play it.

FF8 was the first of the series that I played, so I too am a bit biased, but in my opinion it had the best story. It seemed more original than the "Clone" buisness from FF7, and it incorporated a good side story for each charecter better than 7. There were too many one sided charecters in 7.

I liked FF9 too, but I can't agree with those who say 10 was better than any of the others. I thought 10 was dreadful. It sucked on so many levels that I refuse to incorporate it into the series. For one the game was almost completly linear. The voices for the most part sucked (There were a few that I liked, but not enough). THERE WASN'T A WORLD MAP!! I always liked the ability to just leave a town for a little bit to get some extra cash and EXP. The main charecter had never picked up a sword before and yet he manages to turn into this unstopable hero. The summons were cool, possibly some of the best looking summons, but they were such a hassle to use. The magic chart was another hassle. The fact that a sequal was made for that game at first confused me because a) sequal have never been done before and b) everything I mentioned above. But it made sense that it was going to be based around the girls of FF, proving that even Square isn't ashamed of using sex appeal to their advantage. I could go on and on why I hated 10, but I'll stop here for now.

And yes, Squall Leonhart is my favorite FF hero because he doesn't look like the rest of the "blonde pretty boys".
