You get a higher status when you get enough dragon points.
Didn't you read the FAQ?

Every hundred dragon points you raise a level. You get dragon points by saying intelligent things and giving interesting insight on topics. I will probobly never raise a level.

Note the stickied thread that says "ALL USERS: Read the Community FAQ, or risk being Banned."

Nah, Redline's been here for quite a while. He just "disappeared" for quite some time and just recently came back.

BTW, I haven't gone to the FAQ since it became a sticky...I've gotten a skull for breaking almost all of the rules, so I know 'em by memory now

is there a way to check to see how many dragon points youve got?

Just stay here for a few years and break as many rules as possible. I think that's how it works.
