This has become a tradition here on MKO, back when it was www.MK5.org, although the URL still works. Some of us may have been here for a while, I myself is sort of a veteran, I was here as early as 2000, or whenever the first MK5 possible screenshots came out with early version of Jax. I talked with such people as Fat Satan and Canaanite, you may not know them, but I consider them MK legends on the internet. Anyway, for those who are newer or haven't had the pleasure yet, let's all get to know each other:
My name is Eric, I am 17, live in Canada. I like Rap Music, Video Games, in particular Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat franchises. I got into Mortal Kombat when I was 8 years old, when I first played it, get this, on the Fake NES, a.k.a. Famicom hack. I loved it ever since. I come from the Ukraine, I lived there until I was 11, then I immigrated to Canada. As a career choice I want to get into genetics or medical field. I have a beautiful girlfriend, we've been together for 2 1/2 years and are in love
. That's about it for me. Oh and by the way, another interesting fact is that in MKT, If I played against my mom, %50 of the time I'd lose against her when she play as robot smoke. Not cause I suck, but because I trained her well.
Now it's your turn, everybody, I'd really like to know what kind of people I talk to.
EDIT: As long as people don't change their Avy's I'll be able to remember all the names, like the Raditz guy is Joe. Got it.

I live in Texas and am far away from the stereotypical Texan. I don't have a "Cowboy" accent or a Cowboy Hat for that matter (more of a spanish one) , I don't like Country Music (Heavy Metal is my "Cup of Tea"), I've been playing video games since I was 4 on the NES, I've been a Mortal Kombat Fan since MK1, Mortal Kombat and The Legend of Zelda are my Favorite games, I'm at a tough spot in my life as of now (can't find work), I love watching movies mainly old Martial Arts and Bushidos with of course the newer mainstream films (Kill Bill 1,AVP,so on and so forth), I hope to run a business with my oldest brother sometime in the near future (we are looking in too it), I like to read Gaming Magazines and Game Manuals (with the occasional good book), my favorite MK character of all time is SCORPION (maybe because my horograph is Scorpio???), I LOVE the Winter season (summer sucks ASS), I like to photograph nature and other things that interest me, and if you couldn't tell earlier I hope to live a successful life as a small business owner/manager!! Thats about everything except my account number and phobias (which are none of your DAMN business!!)

I first started playing Mortal Kombat at the tender age of 14 and immediately stopped playing it when MKII came out and made it obsolete. MKII is one of my favourite games of all time, eclipsed only by Mega Man 2. I'm current unemployed but attending college studying musical composition, which I hope to make my career if the voice acting doesn't take off. My current girlfriend and I have been dating for nearly the last 4 years (in fact, our anniversary is just around the corner) and although she doesn't like fighting games, she's still a hell of a catch. My top 5 favourite MK characters are Sindel, Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Liu Kang and Sub-Zero. My top 5 least favourite MK characters are Shinnok, Shinnok, Shinnok, Shinnok and Shinnok. I won my Playstation in an Ultimate Mortal Kombat tournament (with a free copy of Trilogy thrown in), but have lost much of the skill I once had. Lately, Mortal Kombat has once again become the dominant obsession of my life (they seem to come in cycles. from 1984-1987 it was Transformers, from 1987-1992 it was Star Trek: The Next Generation, from 1992-1996 it was Mortal Kombat, from 1996-1999 it was pro-wrestling, from 1999-2003 it was Star Wars and now it's back to Mortal Kombat. I can't wait to play Deception, and in order to make the days go by more quickly, I've created a sprite comic based on the Deception storyline which I update daily.
Also, Kombat tells me I'm famous for an MK fake I made a long time ago. I haven't seen any evidence of that though.
