Both were great, 2 of the best movies of all time....I'm gonna go with Scarface tho, cause Al is the man and it didn't spawn any shitty sequels... :)

Both movies were pretty much the best gangster movies I seem. Nevertheless, it's hard to keep up since Godfather has many sequels while Scarface is just one.

I'm gonna have to as well and say Scarface. Like what was already said, no sequels to keep up with. Just hardcore gangsta shit and then he dies at the end, like a true soldier.

i never watched scarface.

Godfather was great, but my boy scarface was way better IMO. Mainly because i love his movie, and hes truly the gangsta legend.

How true. Yeah, both are very good, but that enormous gunfight at the end made Scarface better IMO.

godfather because if there was no godfather there would be n scareface. and godfather had a good sequel. godfather part 2 was great but godfater 3 sucked it made italians every were cry because it was so horrible. the untouchables was better than that movie

Never seen any of the Godfather movies.

But Scarface is one of the greatest movies of all time damn it!

Scarface only because he reminds me of myself i mean because it was a great movie way better than Godfather

And yet the sad thing is no. Scarface was inspired by an old black and white Gangster (Mob) movie in the 1930's, also called Scarface. But they made the new one more violent and more modern.

But Godfather 2 was great. Robert Deniro was the shit in that movie. Yes, Godfather 3 did suck but I thought the last hour was pretty cool with SPOILER>>>>Andy Garcia the new Godfather, Sofia Capolla died, and Michael Corleone's death.

But supposedly a second Scarface is being made and also a tv series that will be on USA network.

Lol you make it sound like pacino wasn't in The Godfather.

But i'm going with The Godfather. Why? Scarface is great, no doubts, i love it. But the godfather is much deeper then scarface.
