Greatest Cartoon Intro Songs Ever

Okay, I was in an nostalgic mood, and I was thinking.... man, cartoon theme songs actually rocked pretty frickin' hard back in the day. I mean, like, unbelievably so.

But then I started thinking.... what's the GREATEST Cartoon theme song?

It's as simple as that. What cartoon or kid's show song is the best of the best?

From the catchy tunes of Chip N'Dale, to the orchestral chills of Gargoyles, to the pulse-pounding beats of The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, to the jungle rhythms of Phantom 2040, to the epic metal of X-men and Iron Man, what made you freak out as a child and, perhaps, still as an adult?

So let's hear it. Who hear is vouching for Thundercats and Transformers? Or perhaps something happier, like The Simpson? Or something more hair metal like Wheel Warriors?

If I had to choose a "Greatest Show Intro Song" ever as in ANY show. It would be "Aw Here it Goes" from Keenan and Kel. I guess it could count in this since in your post you did say "Kids show" and it used to be on Nick.

If I had to pick a cartoon I would say that "South Park"'s intro is my favorite. I am liking this Japanese Dub I recently found on youtube.

Wheeled Warriors Spanish version I actually watched as a kid
This show was my absolute favorite for years... and there were only like 10 episodes. They should really remake this... same theme song and animation style tho! Hahaha

Centurions (intro) (Another cool one.)

Challenge of the Gobots (intro) (My favorite transforming robots. I "discovered them" before Transformers and since I loved the show I never even wanted to give a chance to Transformers.)

Dragonball Z's openin the rock actually fit really well.

Dragonball GT's opening, the rap version and the Japanese-English translated versions are both equally wonderful:)

Can't believe I forgot Silverhawks and Thundercats. Amazing openings and songs.


Also, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs has one of the best soundtracks in TV history, period, and of course an amazing intro.

Also how has no one mentioned Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I know it's not a cartoon but come one. You all know you loved it.
