Yes, the game will come out on Nov. 9th (dammit!! 2 months AFTER the last date they announced ) and Microsoft announced this at midnight last night. HOWEVER, the point of this thread is that they're offering a limited edition of Halo 2, which will come in a special tin box with a DVD that includes the following features:

-The Making of Halo 2: Behind the Scenes of Bungie Studios
-Featurettes on game design, animation, music, and more
-Cinematics and characters that were cut from the game
-Art Gallery: From Concept to Game
-Commentaries from the development team

All of this for just 5 bucks more ($54.99)?? Sweet!

I know this now means that the game is about 6 months away, but I have no reason to believe this game will NOT live up to the hype.
