Since 1970 April 22nd has been celebrated as Earth Day, and although its origin remains uncertain because both John McConnell(scientist) and Gaylord Nelson(former senator) claim to have started it, the purpose of the day is well understood. So have fun celebrating our earth and its' many natural treasures.
