I heard this was an awful movie. I also heard that it's a gorgeous movie from a visual standpoint. Is the movie really that bad? Without spoiling anything, I was just wondering if there's anything really redeemable in terms of the story, acting, etc.

It feels very much like a "normal person that turns out to be super special" movie, which sounds like every young adult premise since Harry Potter and Hunger Games and Percy Jackson and Divergent and Maze Runner and all that came on to the movie scene. Is it like that, or am I way off base?

I probably won't see it in the theater, but I was just wondering if it was worth seeing at all.
