You've never played the first game? It was a wrestling game using celebrities from Def Jam, Like DMX, Method Man etc. It was actually not a bad game and some of the special moves were really cool. As said above though, This time around they are saying away from the wrestling genre and making it a fighting game with more characters.

Ya, apparantly you actually build your wrestler for the story mode. They are pretty high poly and "normal", too, not all funky looking like the SD wrestlers. Also, you can like go to the barber shop or go get inked up with tats and shizzle, lol. The more phatness you pimp, like with cloths, jewlry, tats, etc, the more respect and fanbase you get. Too good.

I also read they are going to focus a bit on an actual ground and pound/mat wrestling system. Kinda' like in the UFC games. That'll be pretty sweet. I never got into the first DJV, but this one looks pretty wax.

The gameplay was pretty good on the first one, the characters i didnt like much. I might get DJV 2 because its has many new characters added like sean paul, carmen elektra. I think mortal kombat should do something like this maybe mortal kombat: celebrity edition and just have celebrities kill eachother and stuff kinda like celebrity deathmatch. By the way celebrity deathmatch game sucked really bad.

I know about that. The graphics look great, but the game won't look that good when you play, or when it's released I mean. Look at Deus Ex the Invisible War, in the GAMEINFORMER it was featured in, it looked alot better than the graphics are now.

DJV2 looks nice.I loved the first one.Now I can beat up Lil Kim and Sean Paul.
