Havik does mean "hawk" in Dutch (maybe just unintentionally) – Hotaru is "firefly" in Japanese – and Holland was influenced by the vikings but the Frisian culture was stronger there by the time as far as I'm concerned thus the only connection here might be that you became interested of the Norse mythology after watching The Avengers.
There's not much evidence to prove it's specifically from the Norse mythos. It doesn't take a book to realize that the opposite of chaos is order, of evil is good, of up is down, of heat is cold and so on.
This is just a Mortal Kombat fan reading the Norse mythology and meeting resemblances.

It's unfortunate that just a few politicians in Finland in the 90's decided that "Hey, let's change our mark to euro without asking!"; now the citizens have to pay a heavy price for something they couldn't even vote for and for some odd reason the Hollande–Merkel duo (FRA & GER) demands the biggest amount of tax money per capita from us simply because they think "We could sustain it." We had a local great depression in the 90's here and we survived it alone. The price was heavy though; our suicide rates were high (now we're better). Finland was the only country that paid all the bills to USA it deserved after the WWI and WWII assists so we don't take the loans lightly.

Tomas Vrbada isn't amazing because he's a ninja (Where goes Tremor?) but for his legacy and an element like no other; the smoke.
