Hey there folks. If there's one thing I like, it's comedies. The best ones last for a while because of great writing, a great cast, and solid following. HIMYM is one of these shows, starting out its seventh season this year with an interesting story... Barney, the playboy of the group, is getting married.

The end of season six introduced us to Nora, a friend and co-worker of Robin's who gives Barney a chance to prove he is boyfriend material and, surprise, he pulls it off because he is in love with her. This is when a complication develops; despite the fact that both Barney and Robin have already dated and the relationship failed, Robin falls for Barney again. So now we're left wondering, who will Barney marry at the end of the season?

There are only so many answers to this question, so with that being said, here are all possibilities for how the end of the season can turn out...

A: Barney marries Robin! This is the most obvious, and perhaps the most logical choice, if only to preserve the entire cast without adding an additional main character to the roster. Let's face it, it's a sitcom, and like all others before it, how often does a relationship with a main character and a minor character last longer than a few episodes? Besides, Robin and Barney are so much alike, it could work this time with the proper communication!

B: Barney marries Nora! The fact that Robin is in love with Barney again makes this unlikely, but at the same time, Barney appears to be in a much better, happier state with Nora than he was with Robin. They could still be in the honeymoon stage, but then again, Robin and Barney didn't last very many episodes before things turned sour. Plus, she could remain a minor character regardless of her relationship with Barney progressing.

C: Barney doesn't get married this season! This could happen as well, as it has already happened to Ted, and even Marshall and Lily had their initial wedding plans cancelled before finally getting married. Maybe Barney won't go through with marrying either of them because he's too torn up about who to marry... Or it could be the case that we just don't find out who Barney marries until next season (cliffhanger style with Nora about to say the line and Robin objecting or something).

D: Barney marries both of them! Least likely scenario, but I wrote it anyway for shits and giggles. Lord knows he'd want that threesome.

E: Barney marries someone else! This might be as likely as the threesome, but hey, it could happen, right? The season has only aired four episodes, what if things don't work out with Nora or Robin?
