Hey guys i recently had my browser hijacked with the above url appearing when i start IE. I got Spybot S & D and SpyWareGuard and they won't remove it, and i've posted threads on the relevant forums but i can't get a reasonable answer off them. Does anyone on MKO know how to fix it as ur help would be very much appreciated.

Go to your regular home page. Drag the icon that appears next to that url (Usually the lowercase blue e in front of a page) and drag it into the "Home" icon on the toolbar. That might work.

You can fix this, but I'm sure it'll just happen again in a few weeks, or less. Google would be a good place to search for information to help with such things.... the simple solution would of course be:

hey guys thanx for the quick replies, i did try changing my homepage in internet options, but unfortunately browser hijackers reset your home page when u reboot ur system. ill download that web browser and try that. thanx once again

Download CWShredder and then the update straight away. Run the program and it should clean the system.

Always works for me when I get hijaked like this from other parasites...
