Anyone get affected by it somehow? I KNOW I JUST DID!! I live in NC, some might know that, and anyways, it's disbanding and stuff but the thunderstorms are still strong and we had a twister touch down less than two minutes walking distance away from my house. It knocked over a bunch of trees, even a giant one right down the street which is now blocking part of the major road that connects to my sidestreet. Haha. But yeah, what they say is true. It sure as hell sounds like a train. AND HOPE AND PRAY YOU NEVER GO THROUGH IT!! I was so freaked I was gonna die. LOL

I live in SC and it showed effects during Second Period at school today (my school district is fucking retarded they never cancel, one year it snowed and they didnt cancel until they realized it was bad, dumbasses). I was in Pre-Calculus and the wind kept picking up then heavy rain, the rain was blowing over the ground just like a snow drift in a blizzard, freaky shit.

On the news they just said that in towns around where I live, a quarter of a million people don't have power and 7 people are dead from twisters. The newscaster dude said they all died when a building gave way and collapsed. Ouch. wow

God, hurricanes (and all other natural disasters in general) freak me out...
I'm just lucky I live in a zone with no natural disasters whatsoever, just a weak little earthquake once every 2 years (shakes you up a bit then leaves you alone, doesn't even make stuff fall down). All I can do is feel sorry for the people who have to put up with these fucking hurricanes and hope they don't cause too much damage...

That damn Ivan caused a tornado in almost every single county around me including mine!! Luckily the tornado was to our north and was moving north, but it was HUGE! there were power generators being blown, it was crazy as shit. Thank God nothing happened in our neighborhood, this is really unusual since there are barely or no tornadoes in this area.

Im in Georgia and we had a bunch of tornadoes. I live in Athens and we were in the mall and everyone was evacuated form the upper floor and we had to huddle in the underground hallways. I t was crazy. There were like 2 tornadoes luckily, not much damage though. It was rainy as hell and scary! But the next day it was all sunshiny lol!!
Im in VA and I had like 8 tornados touch down in like a 20 mile radius of me. I kicked those tornados asses.

I guess I am lucky even though having my power out for a week sucked insane amounts of ass.

I live near Atlanta, and we got some pretty bad stuff that happened here. My fence is destroyed, trees are down everywhere, and power is still out in a lot of places. Also, most of Atlanta is completely flooded, especially the Six Flags theme park. It's insane.
