You got shadowed by someone on staff or that is a Portal Guard.

I also have a problem with my avatar. When I look in my settings, it says its not a valid avatar. Why does it say that. I made it myself and its in gif format, its smaller than most avatars on the site and it animates, could that be part of the problem?

To the first guy, if they shadowed you, they should have sent you a private message telling you why they did it.

I checked the link for it in Firefox and it says that it's 0kb in size...did you actually upload it? It shows up as a broken image link on the forums.
