So I know the Vita has crossplay (Im not really sure what that is.) Can someone explain what it basically is? Like can I play My Vita Version of MK against a PS3 Version?

I'll use Playstation All Stars as an example since it was announced it has crossplay.

Let's say you want to play against a friend in Playstation All Stars, you being on the PS3, and your friend on the Vita. Crossplay allows you both to play against each other despite being on different systems through the PSN.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, what KungLaodoesntsuck said. Crossplay is available only on certain games, though. There is no crossplay functionality between the PS3 and PSV on Mortal Kombat 9.

Oh ok I see, Thanks to both of you.

So only certain games have Crossplay?

Actually I'm pretty sure it has something to do with dressing up as your favorite video game/anime character.
