Can't wait until they release some info about the system. When PS2 came out people went crazy to get it, I expect nothing less for PS3!

Im going to buy both PS3 and Xbox2.I read in OPM that both systems are so close in technology terms that it's going to be REAL hard to spot the diffrences. So far they both sound interesting.

I think they will have the same lineup though just with exclusive first party games. They have the same lineup almost as it is now.I want to see PSP though a little more than PS3 and Xbox2.

A UK PS2 mag printed this in last months Mag.
A report was leaked that contained some of PS3's specs, Sony has not denied nor confirmed that the specs are correct, but here is what was stated in the report
:- CPU running at 4GH (13 Times faster than PS2)
:- Theoretical maximum of 1 billion polygons per sec
:- Pratical maximum 200 million polygons per sec (PS2 10 million)
:- Up to 16 layers of effects per polygon with no reduced performance. (PS2 1 layer, even struggles with that)
nothing more was mentioned, and it's yet to be known if the report was true, we'll just have to wait for Sony.

If it does, that'll be cool. If it doesn't, I'll just bring in a radio, shut the game music off and play some tunes on the radio.
