Sup, umm I play D&D (if that's the kind of role-playing you're talking about)...Yeah bored here too, it's 5:00am here and I can't sleep.

5:00 am here too, i always wanted to play dungeons and dragons... but i cant find it ANYWHERE to be bought... how old are you? im 16... and male, btw... im playing an xbox rpg called the elder scrolls 3 morrowind right now, but im just wondering around on it

19 and I'm a dude. You're best bet is to just go to a local Barnes and Noble's and look for the Dungeons and Dragon 3.5 Dungeons Master's Guide, 3.5 Monster Manual, and a 3.5 Players Handbook... But to save some money I'd recommend gameoutfitter.com . Plus you're gonna need some friends who would be willing to learn how to play. It's quite an expensive hobby which requires numerous types of die (plural of dice) and game pieces (I'd opt for the D&D minature packs). Hope that helps.

damn... it sounds more EXPENSIVE than FUN... is the game really worth it all? and i have no friends... why do you think im asking for people to talk to me on a message board? im a hermit, i dotn go outside much, if at all... but i used to practically live outside, its a long story how i changed so drastically, i dotn feel like telling it all, but it had to do with a girl i used to love and whom i THOUGHT loved me back... 3 wasted years of my life treating her liek a queen and she was donig nothing but lying, cheating and stabbing me in the back with other guys and broken promises... it ruined my life, so i have no social life, not much [if any] charisma, self confidence... blah blah blah, well i guess i'll go through life without ever playing D&D either, wow.. my life sucks, makes me wanna die sometimes

First off bro you shouldn't let one person have such a dramatice effect on your life brotha. As long as you now you were treating her with respect, there was nothing more you could have done.

I had the same problem as you did once but I got over quickly, can't let stuff break you man.
