So been wanted to make this thread for while ever since I went my local one.
So some of you may have guest, I'm wrestling fan. Loved wwe when I was younger and this year I been starting watch it again but I'm not enjoying it much apart from a few wrestlers like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan to name a few.
Anyway, enough about wwe, We're here talk about your local or independent wrestling promotions. I'll get ball rolling
My local wrestling promotion is ICW: Insane Championship Wrestling. Best way to describe it is; it like ECW (old school one, NOT wwe's ECW). It get crazy at times and some of stuff they pull off is over the top.
Here website if anyone want to know more about it:

Here 2 videos from their last main event they did. the match is called Glasgow Street Fight (hardcore rules). You got 2 teams of 5 fighting each other, anything is allowed.
Here first video

This happened while there was still wrestlers in ring or in crowd fighting and only few people in crowd was allowed to go see it. Sadly I wasn't one of them.
Here my favorite moment of match.

It was so fucking crazy. Can't wait for next month for next ppv to see how they top that.

The only WWE wrestlers I ever truly cared for were Joan Laurer and Mark Calaway.
And out of those two, I have the most respect for Laurer.
I used to very much enjoy WWE and pro wrestling in general when I was younger, back when WWE was WWF. I used to watch it every Sunday, and I collected stickers.
Since then, I have grown weary of WWE, as it has gotten more and more conspicuously scripted over the years, to the point where it seems more like an action TV show than sport. It now has, to me at least, very little realism, and I used to enjoy the sight of actually skilled and formidable wrestlers. Now it seems like anyone can join.
As for Joan Laurer, I've always respected her for breaking barriers and stereotypes on female ability. She as a woman competed against men and showed them gender is not a factor. Despite WWE being scripted, her inclusion in the men's division showed the realism of her strengths and skill. I will always admire her for that.
Only if another woman joins the men's division will I watch WWE again.

Hey buddy, been a while.
As much as I love independent wrestling (as both a fan and a worker), I think this this thread should be a post in the long running pro wrestling thread.
Hope to see you more actively there.

He's right. This should go here please.
