But then, why not keep him alive, in secret, until he's been thoroughly questioned? I'm basically playing devil's advocate here, because I for one believe that he died from kidney failure in 2001, and was 'kept alive' in the media, like a real-life 'weekend at Bernies'.
At the very least people should be able to see that the argument for torture in interrogation is bizarre, since who would know more than Bin Laden about what's being planned next.
Notice how Hillary Clinton was over-acting in that photo. It's not the first time that she's done that. Before the last presidential election, at a press conference, she did this kind of fake cry.
