I would say Wario Land 4 stands out among the games.

That seems to be the trend with video games,hardly anyone releases new games in the summertime,but when fall rolls around there is an avalanche of great games.

I have to agree...it's probably been around a year or so since I even bought a game that really made an impression (Silent Hill 3). Of course, I have a rather narrow taste in games...oh well, we must wait for MK:D, RE4 and SH4 to come out.

To Thread Starter: I understand ya bud, but I guess that's what makes the good ones stand out *Doom III, Halo (1 or 2), Fable etc.*

The games I want will be released in October and November 2004; MGS3, MKD, GT4, FIFA 2005,...

Personally I'm looking forward to many games this year and next...

Prince of Persia 2, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Gran Turismo 4, Doom 3, God of War, Killzone (yes, ik it's an overhyped Halo-poseur, still curious tho) Half-Life 2, Star Wars: Battlefront, Def Jam Fight for NY, Viewtiful Jow 1 & 2, Devil May Cry 3, Final Fantasy XII, Kingdom Hearts 2, Halo 2, MGS 3, Timesplitters 3, THUG 2, Fight Night 2005, Madden 2005, NBA2K5 & NFL2K5 (ESPN, whatever), WWE Smackdown! vs RAW, and last but not least Mortal Kombat Deception

some of those games you may not like but I don't think the quality of the stated games can be argued, but perhaps the originality. Almost every damn game up there is a sequel.

Well, the same phase happened with the first Playstation (I own a PS2)... a game is successful and a slew of sequels is released, for better or for worse.

The last game I bought was Soul Calibur 2, and that was in January. The only other one I plan on getting is MKD - unless NFS:U comes down in price. But that's just me - I'm hard to please.

MK:Deception, Tekken 5, Devil May Cry 3, Metal gear Solid 3, Jak 3, GTA: San Andreas, Viewtiful Joe (PS2), Pro Evolution Soccer 4, New Worms game, Burnout 3 and Crisis Zone are all on my list for this year.

I agree with the lack of quality games during the summer, only AAA games are released before September, other games AAA games are likely to sell well no matter when they are released.

I haven't bought a new game in almost a year.

THUG2, MKD, DefJam2, Prince of Persia 2, GTA: SA, WWE RAW VS SMACKDOWN, Destroy all Humans!, and the new Godzilla game coming out.

don't you have an XBOX kabal? there's Psi-ops Riddick, FSW and other stuff that may be passing you by cuz you're more than likely waiting for halo2...
