Is it possible for TOBIAS to make his own Mortal Kombat ?

If Boon is the Father of Mortal Kombat, than Tobias surely is the Mother. Together they created and produced mortal kombat. However, the team has broken up and went their own seperate ways. Boon stuck with Mortal Kombat and Tobias went on to create Tao Feng, and other titles.
The most exciting thing about Tao Feng (even tho it bombed) was the fact that Tobias was behind it.
QUESTION: If Tobias wanted to, could he produce his own Mortal Kombat game, the way he would like it to be seen and played? apart from Boons Deception, what IF Tobias decided to make a seperate Mortal Kombat...one with completely new characters, and twists on his favorites?
Sort of like Boons Mortal Kombat = original Willy Wonka.
Tobias Mortal Kombat = Tim Burtons Willy Wonka, same story and all but twisted and different
What do you guys think?

Don't think it'll happen, but its a very cool concept. Possibly they could even divide up the characters for their own respective series. Like with Scorpion being Boon's fave he'd take him, while Tobias gets Subby, and so forth. Plus the competition would make each to strive to produce better games.

I don't understand the reasoning behind Tobias's departure, but it would be cool to get his ideas back in to the scheme of things. Don't get me wrong, Deception is the most awesome game in the series thus far...especially the characters, stages, and overall gameplay.
And i realize that Boons staff have worked with Tobias at some point or another so they must know how he thinks.
But still, Tobias would probably bring really cool ideas to the table and give us a mortal kombat deception 1.5 or somehting....hahaha wishful thinking

I think Boon and his team should work on the 3D Mortal Kombats, while Tobias gets a team and works on the 2D Mortal Kombats. The 2D games were awesome, if they started to make them again, I'm sure they'd be a big success.

I think if Tobias ever wanted to work on Mk again i think he would just go team up with Boon, i mean y would he was to compete with him which leads to a lot of extra work. Anyways y did Tobias leave, did they get into a fight or summtin or he just got sick of it and wanted to do his own thing?? Anyone know?

He said he left Midway because he wanted to make his own company.Tobias said there are no hard feelings. That would be cool if he made his own MK.But I would rather see him make a new game. Not a fighter this time around though.I liked MKM.It would be cool if he went back to Midway.

I think not since Midway has the rights to Mortal Kombat.
