There is hardly any lag(so far only once for me). Yes there are idiots but not to many(mostly the little nine and ten year olds and there screaming). I think it is worth it unless you do what my friend did and get it for free.

I heard only good things about Xbox Live. I don't have a Xbox nor Xbox Live, but a dude that I know recently got on Xbox and Live. He enjoys it. He tells me how great it is. I am thinking getting one before Christmas so I can play Splinter Cell 3 co op multi player. If I had some extra cash I would buy Xbox and Live. Since it is good to play together.

Xbox live is the best thing to happen to console gaming.

Cool, if you get it letmee know. Im getting verizon online DSL tomorrow, so i might get Xbox then to go with it. Yeah mabey we can play each other when MK:D comes out.

thanks for all the feedback guys, i think i will get xbox live after i buy mk:deception and halo 2, cuz both those games will make xbox live fun as hell lol...well i have wolfenstein and midnight club II, those would probably be fun online also

X-Box Live is deffinatly worth it if you already have a broadband connection. I don't have X-Box, but I've got PS2 online and I've played on X-Box Live. Live is really smooth with little to no lag compared to others.

i dont have live but my friend does and its great. theres no lag and runs nice and smooth. the game you need to get and the best live game in my opinon is counter strike.

XBox live is over rated in my opinion. 90% of XBox live is very immature people and very annoying to play with. then 5% are the people who cheat by using glitches and then you'll find the other 5% of the people are alright. So if you do get XBL i suggest playing with people you know or you will be very annoiyed

There is no cheating on XBL! It's code is military grade. Atleast I haven't met anybody that cheats. Plus, that also explains why the Action Replay for the Xbox only uses save files and not codes. I have XBL and I play it all the time. My favorites are Unreal II, Unreal Championsip, Ninja Gaiden(Hurricane Pack rules!),and Mech Assualt. I'm getting DOAU and Deception in October, and the Collector's Edition of Halo 2 in November.

Don't get it if you have a mod-chip in your Xbox.
Unless you have a newer mod-chip that you can turn off.

You will be banned from the Live! servers permanently if you log on with a modded xbox.

Im a Halo veteran, before I came to this forum I hung out at this halo forum, halo.bungie.org .Everything was up to date and the tricks, and easters eggs, and eveything else you can think of in halo(execpt yellow banshees :) I found thanks to that site. But thats in the Past, and now im dedicated to this site and this site only. But oh yeah I still own yous at halo. >:D

Yes, you can disable some mod-chips in the bios settings.

Your probably would own me in Halo I am not very good at it but I would own anyone in Counter-Strike. Not to many people like it though.
