I don't know if any of ya'll care about this but I've been trying to keep up with this 21'st movie and stuff and this is what I've found out so far.

~Pierce Brosnan is apparantely BACK in negotiations with producers to do a fifth and final movie because now that Sony is the highest bidder to buy out MGM, they can pay him what he wants! Haha.

~It was said for a while that Keira Knightley (Pirates Of The Caribbean) was in talks with producers to be the new Bond girl, but turned the role down, saying "I don't think I have the assets to be a Bond girl. Anyway, I'm no good with bikinis. They always have to wear bikinis, don't they, Bond girls?"

~Angelina Jolie has been trying to make it public that she would love to be a villain in hopes to get producers to take note of her.

~Sir Ben Kingsley has also been speaking to the public about how much he would love being a Bond villain, in hopes of producers considering him.

~(FACT) James Bond 21 is set to begin filming in January on the famous James Bond soundstage at the MGM studios backlot. The movie is on schedule despite recent rumors that it was behind, and it is still on track for a November 18'th, 2005 release date.

~A recent plot summary of the script has been posted online. This has yet to be proven, but you may take it as you wish. No title was given.

"When a bridge in Russia is mysteriously destroyed, Bond is recalled from a mission in Egypt to investigate the connection with the recent 'attacks' and the machinations of a legitimate business empire called 'Scorpio'. Richard Falco, the owner, may hold the key to stopping the destruction of various monuments in the world..."


Well, I think that about does it for all the major stuff I know.

Yea I was just reading an interview with him, in which he says he was quoted wrong, and he would be back, despite popular rumors.

Bond owns, no doubt about it. I would like to see it go back to GoldenEye and be less 'Die Another Day'. I liked DAD a lot, but honestly I coulda done without the whole Jinx thing, I hate Madonna, and the story didn't interest me greatly. There were a lot of great scenese tho, and I do own the DVD. I'm just sayin forget all the bullshit and let's get back to Bond bein Bond.

Yeah. I heard the same people who wrote The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day wrote this one as well and in an interview they said they were taking Bond back to his roots, where there was all the undercover, sneaking around at night, insanely evil henchman and villains. Stuff like that. So if they do it correctly, I'm hoping to see a 20'th century Bond movie that can live up to Goldfinger, though that is quite a lot of hoping. LOL

There was an article on Dark Horizons a few days ago about Dougray Scott (the bad guy from Mission Impossible 2) possibly being the new James Bond. Not a bad choice, I reckon. Better than Eric Bana, anyway.

I really like Bond. Unfortunately, Bond is getting less Bond every time we see him on screen. I mean what the hell was wrong with Die Another Day? Were they trying to make a science-fiction movie out of it? Out of Bond?! Hopefully this new movie will take Bond back to his roots and stop with this stupid science-fiction shit we saw in Die Another Day and Moonraker (but that's another story).

Here's hoping Quentin will get his will through and direct BOND 21.

Doubtful Quentin will get it. But yes, Bond is suppose to go back to his roots in this movie. They say its suppose to be hardcore and gritty and not all relying on special effects. (VERY GOOD THING! And if you ask me, I think they just wanted to go over the top for #20 LOL to make it "special" haha)

Around the end of next year, they are releasing all of the movies on DVD again for an Ultimate James Bond 007 DVD Collection. All of them are gold colored and come with TONS of amazing extras that never made it to the original DVD box sets.

Also brand new 4000 horizontal line digital film transfers will be made for all the movies from "Dr. No" through to and including "The World Is Not Enough", so 007 will look sharper than ever.

Oh, here's something else interesting. The James Bond novels are taking a dramatic spin too. LOL They won't follow Bond in the current years. They are going BACK IN TIME!! Thats right! The new series, "Young Bond" will feature Bond's origin. The first book, "Silverfin" is due out March next year. This is all thats known about it.

"The dark waters around a Scottish castle hold a sinister secret. One man with a thirst for power will use it - whatever the cost. SilverFin is dangerous. SilverFin is the future. SilverFin must be destroyed... "

It's suppose to show how Bond is kicked out of college, how he begins his lust for woman, and he's only suppose to be a TEENAGER!! LMAO!!
