For those of you who seem to think the fact that the forum search function is down gives you the OK be lazy:

  • Read the community FAQ located at the top of every forum page..........
  • REPEAT AS MANY TIMES AS IS NECESSARY

  • Read all the subjects of all stickied posts.
  • If the information you are looking for may be found in one of the stickied threads (sticky threads have an icon to the left that looks like this ), goto step D

  • Think of the key words involved in the subject matter you wish to convey.
  • Enter them into your browser's search function and try to find them on at least the first two or three pages.
  • If the information you are looking for can be found on the first two pages, goto step D

  • Click the "Post a New Message" Link located near the top of the page.
  • Type a difinitive subject in the text box next to the word "Subject:"
  • Type your message in the text box next to the word "Message:"
  • PLEASE, Click the "Preview" to see a preview version of your post if you'd like. This is especially useful for checking to make sure links and images in your post are working properly.
  • Click the "Submit" button when you are satisfied with your new message and wish to let others read it.

  • (Anything I forgot, guys?)

The only reason I won't do a threadjack is because you have Natalie in your avatar/sig.

Isn't talking about something other than the subject at hand and saying the word "threadjack" in your post a threadjack anyway?

    Not entirely.

Besides, I didn't do the key thing required for a threadjack: Change the thread's subject.

Yeah, maybe a little harsh, especially to someone so new to the site, but it would be so simple just to read the first 4 or 5 posts and see that there is already a thread there about it. It'll probably never happen, though. I'd bet this site can't get through one day without someone doing something like that.

    It just screams lazy.

The only good excuse for not seeing it would be that inability to read. And then....What the hell are they doing here in first place

Since September 18th (2 day's after the other thread was stickied), 5 such threads have appeared.
