Saw the first one and personally thought it was terrible. The second one doesn't look much better to be honest. Would have gone to see it though if my girlfriend was still working at the theater but she isn't because of school. Can't beat seeing literally everything that came out because of her.

The movie was great. Better than the 1st film in my opinion. Great fights and etc. Loved the fight between Mother Russia and Hitgirl. The movie had less use of guns but more action and had more laughs. The scene after the credits were pretty funny to. Which is good hope for a 3rd film.
UlcaTron let me know how you liked the movie.
Jironobou what was your fav scenes in the movie.

Aight, so favorite scenes...
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Kick-Ass and Doctor Gravity's first team up was rather awesome, especially when the Doctor comes into the fight with his bat
When Justice Forever was introduced, and then when they take down the prostitution house.
Mother Russia fucking up a bunch of cops while a remixed Tetris theme plays in the background!
Hit-Girl rescuing Kick-Ass from that van
The Final Battle was all sorts of awesome.
Also, this might sound weird, but that pan transition right after the last rooftop scene (I call it the Sky to Sea transition) was smooth as fuck...

MY POST WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT OWN RISK!
@Acidslayer - I didn't end up watching the end scene credits. However, the movie itself kind of bored me. Action packed, though, and kinda funny at moments.

I heard Jim Carrey slated the film and his role in it, stating thet there's too much violence. He filmed his parts then a month later the school shooting heppened and now he feels guilt about thowiing gun-violence into such a frivolous light. Personally i think he needs to give himself a break. It's not like he told anyone to go shoot innocent children. And as WE (especially us the MK fans) know, violence in the media doesn't create violence in society - Were Richard I's crusaders playing MK and CoD before a bloody battle? I think not.
Can't see it soon enough, just depends when we can d/l a decent copy.

I found this hilarious after seeing the movie

Colonel Stars and Stripes doesn't even use a gun... at least not a loaded one. Hell, his character was a born-again Christian that opposed murder.

The entire boycotting of this movie on Jim Carrey's part has up'd my respect for him a trillion times over.
