Kitana's name (and others)

Do u guys think that Kitana's name came from the spanish word "gitana" which means gypsie??? Cuz Kitana did look like a gypsie kinda in mk2 and the creators sort of use words in spanish and make names into characters....

ex:
Mavado= Spanish word, Malvado, which means bad boy

Bo Rai Cho= Spanish word Boracho, which means, drunk man

Kitana= Spanish word Gitana, which means Gypsie

any others?

This should be in one of the other forums.

Kitana probably came from the Japanese "katana," by the way.
