I don't know if this has been covered or even if this is the right place to be discussing this...

But does the MK team use live action 3D capture for the moves on the games?

If so, do they use different people with different body types? Or do they use one person who studies many different types of Martial Arts?

They've used an assortment of actors for digitizing in MK1,2,3 and UMK. Carlos "One Take" Pesina was mocaped for DA and has worked on other projects which involve the capture of actor data and motion. Anywho, yeah.
