How do you feel about using Marijuama for cancer, aids, ms, or other illnesses which studies show marijuana helps with pain. Do you support it? Why? If you support it you can go here and send a fax to your local representative for free.

BTW, please don't get off into should marijuna be legal, that is a different debate, and is not related.

Well look at it this way, if someone's dying anyway, we should at least let them be on a huge trip on the way out. Rather than suffering.

Aaaactually, it's quite multi-sided. How does that make me one-sided? Because I don't give a crap about legalities and so-called moral issues? If so, then boo-hoo. I'm interested in people, not paper or ideals. If it's going to help someone, great. You said the same thing.

Marijuana has a lot of different uses, and I think medical use should for sure be allowed. I know people on 'medical weed', tho it's not really 'legal'. The doctor is like 'Um..grow your own...and don't be stupid and sell it.' and I know those same people eat a lot more, and feel a lot better after they toke.

If u can use it 4 medical reasons then why is it illegal. I know that they say it is illegal because when it high u dot make good decisions and car accidents and stuff, well then y isnt alcohol illegal.

pot does not have medical grounds, its just a bunch of hippies and pot heads who mainly suck and wront go far going around claiming medical pot when they themselves dont even have a terminal illness.

morphine, it stops pain, but why is it not giving out more often? its addictive, so is pot.

pot is a hollusajinic, and sucks, jerks smoke it.

Wrong, I smoke all the time, and so do my friends, and I know nobody that has ever 'hollucinated' (sic).

if it isnt legalized for everyone then at least use it for its medical purposes. If taken without being smoked, it can be a very helpful medicine. 90% of the prescription drugs out there have side effects worse than the problem it solves. If someone were to use a vaporizer then it would be pretty much 100% safe and should be allowed to at least the ill.

If they ask for pot because they're in pain, give 'em some morphine and tell them to shut the hell up. Pot is only good for creating dumbasses who go around pissing me off an breathing my air. Not for medicine.

It kills brain cells (which don't regenerate) and one joint is the equivalent of 4 cigarettes if your trying to obtain lung cancer, not to mention it hinders your reaction time. Then again alchohol, tobacco, and firearms are legal so what the hell, right? Anyways I think that medicinal marijuana should be legal everywhere.

Unfortunately, this isn't so. My family was almost completely broken apart because of emotional problems caused by excessive use of weed.

As I recall, it's not really used to ease pain in cancer patients. It's used to get people to eat more. Oh, and morphine is a lot more deadly than weed. I believe last year was the first time somebody has died of canibus poisoning.

But the difference between morphine and Pot is that a person cannot blow a cloud of morphine in my face, thus causing me to to get up and beat said person into submission.
