I have always loved MGS and I think that number 3 is going to be brilliant. The first game (on the PS) was far better than MGS2, because it had a strong story, which enhanced the experience. It was also more stealthy IMO. I think this game is gonna redefine stealth games. What do you lot think?

I got a EGM about a month ago with a huge cover story on MGS:Snake Eater.
You will have all types of camo, as it will play a huge role. THere is 'tree' camo, 'weeds'camo, 'snow' camo, and more.
You will have to eat snakes, rats, etc to survive in the jungle.
This time you have to fight the enemy, as well as the environment.
It was a great read, if it's still out I recommend you all to pick it up.

I might give this one a miss, I really wanted to know more info about the Patriots.
When I found out it was a prequel I was quite pissed.
No1 knew buggar all about the Patriots in MGS2 which was present day so nothing new will be around in the bloody 70's. Grrr

Snake Eater will redefine stealth action when it's released.
How do you know that?
Who told you that the entire game takes place in the past? Did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, the game takes place over different time periods? Perhaps there is a link in the past to the events in the near future setting of MGS2...
Remember, Kojima never seems to tell you everything that's going on. You end up figuring it out when you actually PLAY the game.

Don't you think that MGS2 had a pretty damn complicated story? Well, anyways, MGS3 does look great, and the graphics are pretty good too.
