Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

My favorite series is getting a port to the PS3 and in HD. Peace Walker that was originally for the PSP is also getting ported to the PS3.

The "overseas" edition of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will include...

•Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (based on Subsistence version)

•Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - Subsistence
(which includes: Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2)

•Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

The Japanese version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will include...

•A Product Code for Metal Gear Solid

•Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (based on Subsistence version)

•Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - Subsistence (which includes: Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2)

Who else besides me (I'm a huge MGS fan) is excited for this?

When i heard they were releasing this i was so happy cause my ps2 died on me so i couldn't play Mgs 2 or Mgs 3 :( i have every single mgs game incuding the first blue disc release of MGS 1 which was my first playstation game :) i cannot wait to get this but kinda sux only the japanese will get mgs 1 :( oh well i've already got it can't be greedy!

Thats great but are they still going to do MGS 3 on 3DS still or are they going to cancel it since there doing this.

It's delayed in US and Europe but still gonna be out in Japan this year. They say in Spring will it be out for US and Europe.

No problem.
I am super stoked for this! Metal Gear is my favorite game series. In fact I just gave Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake another go. Its wicked fun. This is a nice tide over till whenever Metal Gear Rising is released. It’ll be fun playing as Big Boss in HD graphics in Snake Eater. That I’m most looking forward to. And the chance to play Peace Walker is a real treat.

Personally I would've taken Portable Ops over Peace Walker. I think the characters in there are much cooler than in PW, plus getting to see Nole was cool. It's still a fine collection though, I'll be picking it up as well as the Z.O.E. HD collection in support of a third game for that series.

Ive played them all recently, the only one i havent played is Peace Walker. Id like to get a ps3 ported version of that alone.

Damnit... I finally got the second disc of MGS3, and now THIS is announced.

I'll still get a PS3, but only for MGS4 and MGS Rising
