I hear what your saying.I never like Video games
much before Mk came out.I always thought they were kiddish an all.I was home on leave from LeJunne an had my girl in the Lakeland mall when I saw an played my first MK match.I went into the arcade
to win her a stuff animal.Man there was this huge
line all the way around the arcade an went out the door.Looked a line for a rollercoaster ride.
I was like what the??Is going on here.I pardon my way to were I could see the screen. After about 2 or 3 matches I was like this actually looks neat.
So for a $5 spot I got myself inline about 4 from the machine.Well I got in there put my quarter in
an I didnt know exactly what to do.I do remember that I picked Kano. This dude around 16 or 17 was this blue guy.Now i know better.Well the first round went really quick.Flawless.I thought this is
fun.So the next round I did get in a punch or two but my kungfu was weak an it was soon over. Then he did it.The finish move.Thats what really got
me.I had to know more.So the next day being Monday an all I went back up there.Just as I thought everyone was in school or work.I had the whole machine to myself. At that time the silverscreen was full of martial arts guys.Norris,Van Dame,Seigul to name a few.
I read all the bios an there was Cage.I said, this is the guy I want to master.I like this character. So I must have spent forty bucks in there that afternoon an the rest is history.I know what you mean about giving up info on special
moves an finishers. That was taboo in those days.
So I have paid for my fair share of Mk lessons sorta speak. But I learned quarter after quarter.I soon was able to put about 9 to 10 people away before I had to go the end of the line.Man that shit was fun.Well thanks for the insight an I can truly relate to alot that stuff you said. Thanks again.Long Live Johnny Cage.
