I don't know if anyone has done a quiz on MKO before, but I think I know how to get around the problem of posting the answers in the thread for all contestants to read.

I will ask a question roughly every 1-3 days (depending on the number of responses) and you can PM me your answer.

First to 10 correct responses wins that game.

I will make a list tallying everyone's score and post it with the next question so you can see where you stand.

In the event of a tie correct spelling will count as a determining factor in who wins. If the tie still remains a tie-breaker question will be asked.

The first to 10 correct responses will be crowned CHAMPION of that game. The champ cannot particpate in the remaining games until:

After 4-8 games (depends on number of responses) a TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS will begin to figure out who the GRAND CHAMPION will be.

If I give an incorrect answer, tell me and I will make the correct adjustments to the score.

The answer to the previous question will be posted along with next question in the series.

If the question is in two parts, both parts must be answered correctly to receive a correct response check.

-Finaly, the final descision is up to me, if you feel strongly against an answer I believe is true then send me a message explaining where I'm wrong and I may be convinced to change the scores.

I was thinkin' of placing it in the CLASSIC MK GAMES forum, but after I wrote out the first 10 questions I realized that not all the questions are related to just the CLASSIC GAMES. Maybe some will be about Deception, some about the Movies and Tv shows (cartoon and Conquest), some will be based on the comics and others just on the generally accepted storyline. Basically anything in the MK world - as long as the questions and answers dont contradict one another.

So that's why I didn't put it in the Classics forum.

Answer: Hanzo Hasashi was his name, and he belonged to the Shirai Ryu clan.

HINT: He was in MK3

Answer: The original character was supposed to be Kurtis Stryker (spelt Striker) in place of Sonya. Then Striker was axed again in MK2 for Jax! Too bad he wasn't axed for MK3 as well...

Answer: Kung Lao and Kai. Bo Rai Cho is a member of The Order of Light, but not The White Lotus Society.

Answer: Well there seems to be a lot of confusion over this subject, I was going by what www.mktemple.com says, and they say Noob Saibot and Reiko are the only two active members of the Brothers of the Shadow. But because of Deception and MK:Conquest and other things there is too much confusion so if you said any 1 of Noob Saibot, Sareena, Kia, Jakaata or Reiko I gave you a correct answer. So.....

HINT- It's not Blaze...

Answer: The most common name for Blaze (from Pit II) before MKDA was TORCH. The Liu Kang look-a-like was known as Hornbuckle.

Answer:
Sektor was the first cybernetic ninja to be automated by the Lin Kuei because of his loyalty to the clan, LK9T9 is his unit number.

Info. refresher:

To the people who have PM'd me about the number of rounds and rules etc: well its the first to 10 points. I was going to make it so that when someone reaches 10 points a new game will begin. But then I realized that its seems stupid, cus if someone reaches 10 while there are others on 9, 8 etc. then they will needlessly lose their points. SO... I will take the first 4 or 8 (maybe even 12) people who reach 10 points, then start a tourney just for them, where the questions get harder and the winner will be the Grand Champion.

As I've said before, once someone reaches 10 they will become a Champion and gain automatic entry into the Tournament of Champions. But what to do till everyone else catches up? Well if you reach 10 points and become a Champion you reserve the right to make up your own questions for the rest of the game until the Tourney of Champs begins. You can run them by me, then I will say yes/no depending on the quality/difficulty, and then either I or the Champ will post it.

ps. I obviously don't have the power, but I feel that the Grand Champion should get a Dragon Point or two for being the knowledge king/queen. I'd like to see a reward for the winner, so here's to hoping...

Answer: Khameleon chooses to fight on the side of Earth, making the last survivors of her race (Khameleon and Reptile) lethal enemies - until you see her ending of course...
