Hero of the Year: Noel Kreiss, FF13-2

Villain of the Year: Caius Ballad, FF13-2

Music of the Year: SSX's Soundtrack, specifically Hot Like Dimes by Pretty Lights, Clear Skys by Amon Tobin (it's supposed to be grammatically incorrect), and Young Blood by The Naked and Famous. Honorable mention goes to FF13-2's soundtrack, as it is absolutely beautiful.

Moment of the Year: Probably when Cortana "dies" in Halo 4, even though it was pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Most Anticipated Game of 2013: Final Fantasy 13-3

Dork of the Year: TIE: Ed Boon when he anounced Injustice ( I wanted MK X) and S-E when they announced that FF versus 13 won't be released this year and instead they gave us Lighting returns.

I haven't even played enough games from 2012 to really pick anything. However, Legend of Grimrock was a really nice surprise and instantly grabbed me. Shank 2 was also a lot of fun, and improved on the original in a lot of aspects.

Diablo 3 was disappointing and turned me off of Blizzard somewhat. Not buying another one of their games on launch. Mists of Pandaria was the first WoW expansion I didn't play.
