Hey guys,

There's lots of movies out there (besides the obvious ones, (e.g. Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, etc.) that are very close to MK, and would be very fun for an MK fan. Here's a list of what I've got so far:

  • Book of Swords
  • Press Start
  • Shower of Blood
  • Cyprus Tigers
  • Balls of Fury
  • Enter the Dragon
  • Big Trouble In Little China
  • Hollywood Goes Gaming


Can anyone think of any more?

Does Street Fighter II count? I mean, it was out before Mortal Kombat, and is what inspired Midway to come up with their own fighting game.

I thought Big Trouble in Little China came before MK. Didn't they get Raiden from that movie?

Heh, this reminds me of that spoof martial arts movie, "18 fingers of death" I saw about a week ago.
