How come I can't play mpg movies on my computer? when I click on a movie link (mpg) a screen comes up in a realone player look, but doesn't play. is there a place I could go to be able to play mpg movies?

you may want to update your codecs. The best place to ask though is Video Help

Those guys know everything.

click on the icon with the right-> mouse button, then click open with, and try windows media player out, maybe that will work

Oh and I forgot, this will help:
GSpot

It figures out what video codecs are required to play a certain file.
