As most of you probably know, I am a youth pastor in Southern California. For my youth group, I decided to make a sort of "intro video" to get people to see what youth group is like. I made it on Windows Movie Maker, and is my first attempt at editing video of any sort.
Would you mind checking it out and posting opinions? Thanks!

Hmmmmmmm... I guess it's my slow processor that isn't making the movie run smoothly. But it's pretty cool. I really liked the use of type in the vid. Nice up beat music and shots of people saying good things about identity that fit with the message and reaches your target audience. You must have a 'graphic designer' gene in you somewhere.
And the cool thing is that you're not only targeting kids, but your trying to get dogs to join as well.

Nice use of timelapse, It seems you used a film camera for the stop film animation. I don't like this version of the song but, hehe personal pref. lol
The sequences that you made on the comp contrast sharply that of the video and the film. But they were well put together, it seems I can't complain on much technical aspects of it. When considering that this is your first Comp edited one I can give it a certain nicety towards it.
However the size is rather tangible. But I'll see if I can't correct that problem for you.

Me being an experienced movie maker, I would suggest when saving the movie, increasing the quality to match your modem. Also, get the patch for movie maker at microsoft.com and you can do alot more things on it. But besides that good movie I liked it.
Not bad, not bad at all... I to am over a youthgroup and have had to do some things such as this to bring new faces in... good video though, the quality could be a little better but besides that itll serve its purpose well...
