Nope, I got mine for my B-Day, about two years ago, and I've never had a problem with (unlike my PS2).

My Xbox doesnt freeze unless I play the game for a long time

The only games that froze on my Xbox are Ninja Gaiden and KOTOR

2 very addictive games

dude thats exactly like I did... but about a year ago my PS2 broke down... when I have some money aside I'll buy a modded xbox, which is very worth it...

I just got an Xbox about 3 weeks ago and my games are Halo, KOTOR, and Counter-Strike, I've played KOTOR and Counter-strike for a couple hours without stopping and it's never froze.

I've had my PS2 since launch date however and it did that disc read error shit back in January and I sent it into sony and got it repaired for free it just took 3 weeks to get back and I had to pay shipping! ARGH!

I got an Xbox at launch. Not one single freeze problem. Theres just some defective ones out there, I guess I just lucked out.

Yeah, unfortunately there are defective units out there for every console, just the nature of electronics. I got my Xbox last Christmas, though, modded it, and have never had a single problem with the 'box or the mod, even when playing it extensively.

With a "masterpiece" collection like that my friend, you must add Ninja Gaiden!!! I ruined my "pretty" collection with Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Spawn: Armageddon (I am STILL a huge Spawn fan).

I've had my Xbox since launch date and I have no problems with it. I also have a pretty extensive library of games, 40+ games.
