as many of u know, the matrix revolutions was released all around North America today. being the matrix obsessed fan that i am, i purchased it as soon as possible (right after school to be more specific). anyways, ive had the first disc in full screen version for almost a month now (which is suprisingly excellent). so i went straight to the extras. needless to say it took me about 3 hours to get through em all. yes theyre that long. and worth every second. from the detailed and fast paced documentary behind the film to the jaw dropping sneak peek at the upcoming game, Matrix Online to the countless other extras. Speaking of which, another great feature was the ability to view the superbrawl (neo and smiths final battle) through three different views. storyboard mode (my least fav but still very cool mode), normal (the scene speaks for itself on this one), and (my personal fav) behind the scenes. if that doesent impress the casual fan/dvd lover then the other various intereactive features might.those new to the matrix consept or timeline are given a summary of all the events leading up to Revolutions through the properly titled, "Before the Revolution" feature. Then there's also some very cool consept art and some old school stuff like the white rabbit feature. tho worthless after the first viewing (because theres an operator section on the second page which lets u access the bonus footage through simple links and not catching the white rabbit for the extra goodies). But enough about the features. the movie itself is amazing quality. im not gonna critique the film itself because that falls under your own personal view and its not my part to tell u what is good and what is not. but the picture and sound are crazy. i've even explored the film a couple of times through the comp for some cool pics (which i eventually put up on my MSN which im sure for those of u i have on there know already lol) and each of them were superb quality. this was the full screen version aswell. i have yet to view it in widescreen (the version i bought, not ripped). but im fairly confident there are not differences in picture. perhaps angles differ but the quality remains. as i said tho, any matrix fan or casual DVD fan (or someone who collects DVD's and plans on finishing off the matrix collection) id advise to buy this. if u are waiting for the boxset it might be smarter to wait. then again no official word has spread about it (only a couple of articles in movie magazines which i dont often trust) and i would advise getting your hands on this baby, turning up your speakers and watching the adventure as if u were back at the theatre. so whatever doubts u had about the quality and work put into the DVD (becuase the second one was dissapointing compared to the supreme first one) give it a chance. a rental if u just want a sample and then if u wanna own, do so. because it very much surpasses the first matrix' (award winning) DVD in length and quality.

Yea, alot of people thought the first matrix was better but I think revolutions was even better. I like the final fight between neo and smith.
I liked the Matrix Revolutions but damn it killed me having to sit forever through the battle of Zion, i felt it dragged on wayyyyy to long... the final fight between Neo and Smith was awesome though and the end was awesome when u really thought about it... but the dragged out battle of Zion kinda made me wanna catch a few z's while it built up to the good stuff...

Yes, I too think revolutions was better. And that fight at the end reminded me sooo much of DBZ (Goku vs Majin Vegeta). Anyone else agrees?

u know i did notice one big difference. when neo does the hand gesture to smith in the building u can bearly see his hand in Full Screen. widescreen, however shows it fully. but thats the only difference ive noticed. full screen is very good on big T.V's tho. maybe even better than widescreen.
