Well, I got it friday from powergamer (they were the only store to give it out early where I live at.)

This game is hella fun. The swinging is ****ing amazing. You get upgrades (via hero points for doing good deeds) and you get to go faster and you get acrobatic moves and such. The GTA style is just how it is. The game is HUGE. I mean, it will take you a while to get from one end to the other even with the websling cool **** action. There's no zip line...where there is but its not how it was in teh first game when you can just hang from anywhere (which I was hoping that was in it ) but the zip they have there is a quick pull into a direction (mostly used for quick turning). I wanted to play "free roam" until the movie came out so I can just watch the end and sees what happens then play the game and wont be surprised.....BUT....(I'm ashamed)....the story was so good (cuz they implemented shocker,mysterio, and rhyno) that I just had to keep going until I met up wit doc ock....BUT....I kept goin, and going and going...then I got to a part of the movie (the one with harry pulls off the mask) and I DIDNT WANT TO WATCH ANYMORE.....BUT...(I know this is a long run on sentence, but who cares, its the internet )...the bad side of me just WATCHED IT. I know what happens (I WILL NOT SAY...I'm still ashamed for watching it but oh well). Then I was at a part where there was a time limit for the main storyline so I couldn't just go to free roam after that fiasco (I'm pissed about that) and I saw the WHOLE THING. . Oh well, I know the movie is gonna be good if the game's storyline had me excited. Anyways, back to the game.

The random crimes do happen in a timely matter so you don't worry about having to wait a while before getting something done (just websling around...believe me, you'll find something.) The crimes get repetitive after you do like 15 of em..but some of them will catch you off guard...for ex: you fightin some people and then they run off in a car and you can catch them easily (jump on the car and punch it while dodging bullets ) but one time (ONLY ONCE...so far) they ran off in a helicopter...and I was like, "OH ****." You might think its easy, its definetly NOT. That was the first mission I lost . I haven't tried out easy webslingin (who wants to ) but normal is pretty good. One thing you will notice (believe me, YOU WILL) is that the web ACTUALLY does cling onto the buildings and not the sky (even though sometimes I wish it would) and it REALLY gives you a sense of how Spider-Man goes AROUND TOWN. They PERFECTED that. There are some camera problems (somewhat) but I believe the camera was built that was to catch up with spidey and give the best approach to him in different areas (like when he is wall climbing, it does get on your nerves and WILL stay that way sometimes depending on you.)
The fighting is like the last one but better. Its alot faster and the guys will get tougher (alot tougher, just regular people I might add...its very strange). The moves are just so ****ing pretty..lol. Then you get upgrades for moves that even look better.
There are other stuff you can do as well, pizza delivery, which is fun, for a second. I do it cuz its on the list of things that need to do to complete the game (I know I won't finish this one in a while). You can't do acrobatics while slinging ( ) because the pizza will get ruined and its kinda hard not to do it (I guess thats why they did that) cuz after you've been playing and slinging everywhere you get used to just flipping while in mid air, it becomes second nature. After a couple swings you'll get it though.
Then you have race thingies where you get a certain point in a certain time limit (just like in GTA but spidey style) and I will tell you from first hand experience, THAT **** IS ****ING HARD. Mind you, I've been playing this for hours...I MEAN HOURS ever since I got it and I only did and completed like 5 of these and there are like 100 of them (literally). Then when you beat that score, there's another score that you have to beat (the same race mind you) with a couple seconds that is underneath the one you just broke. I just quit those after I beat the first one...I'll save them for a later day.
You also have to take pictures, you just go to daily bugle, you'll get the targets on the map and then you are off your way. You have to take the pictures in a time limit as well (For the reason, I have no clue.) but they can get difficult at times when you are at ground level and the next pic is on a skyscraper (damn, I hate when that happens). Then after you take the pictures, you have the same time remaining to TAKE IT BACK TO DAILY BUGLE. That's when you get mad some times (I've had my share, but there are more easy ones than hard so don't worry..I hope...) cuz you only have 1:00 min (seems like a long time, right...HA) but you are halfway across town.
There are alot of items like secret spot tokens to be discovered and other ones for skyscrapers that you have to collect.
The replayability will be as long as GTA was to you (cept no hurting innocent people) and the police won't come after you (which I say they should, they SHOULD of mad it where if you hurt people the police come after and send helicopters and stuff after you cuz you are a vigilante...I know it sounds like GTA but oh well.)
You are only peter parker in daily bugle and u just run around for a bit then leave and there's no jumping or nothing, you just run..lol) and then there are some cutscenes as well.
The audio is well done except for one MAJOR thing. You can be like 3 blocks away from somebody and here them like they yelled in your ear for help or somethin (like a balloon...damn I hate those...lol). But the voice acting is mediocre, you can tell McGuire didn't do his best (why should he, he aint gettin paid THAT MUCH...lol...anyways) but the sounds are very cool, especially jumping from a tall buildings and hearing the wind.
The visuals are mediocre as well (cept for spidey who looks pretty cool) but I don't blame them for that since they wanted to focus on the gameplay. The only gripe I have with that is that you can tell they have like 4 different (there's prolly more but oh well) "people" models and different skin and clothes on each one. The thing I'm happy bout is that each race has a distinct voice and every gender, so you won't hear a white girl say "Hey, holmes." (that's just an ex, not one that I have heard in the game.) or something like that.
That's all I can think of right now that I can thisthingisdisableduate for myself. Ask a question that I can understand, don't ask questions like im a dev of the game plz. and if I can't understand it, I won't answer it. I'll answer questions when I have time.
oh yea, I WON't TELL THE ENDING . I know the movie is gonna be the ****. Ask AWAY.
