Who's voting for Nader? What's his deal? I asked my friend's mother who'd she might be voting for, and she said Nader, because he's Anti-War.

Early on I considered voting for Nader, but this election I think it's more important to use my vote to get Bush out of office.
Here's a little info on Nader: he's been involved for decades with hundreds of projects ranging from environmental causes, to public health and safety, to campaign finance reform. The main reason he's running is to bring attention to the fact that the two major parties basically only serve the interests of the corporations.
But the thing is, his views are all basically on the liberal side, which is cool with me, but a lot of his contributers, like the people who help him get on the ballot and fund his campaign, are conservatives and Republicans, who basically stand for the opposite of what he stands for. So why would they help him? Simple: he takes votes away from the Democrats. Now, I don't believe Nader is in cahoots with the Republicans, but I do have to question his motives. I'd like to see power in the hands of independents and third parties in the US, but I don't think that will happen any time soon.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't want to risk Bush's re-election on a vote for Nader, so I'm going with Kerry because he has a better chance. I don't necessarily like Kerry over Nader, but I agree with more of Kerry's ideas than W's.
