need some help troubleshooting laptop wifi

I have a Dell Inspiron 700m laptop. When I turn on WiFi it connects to my network and obtains an ip address, but when I load up the browser it can't connect to the internet.

I don't have this problem when the laptop is hard-wired with an Ethernet cable. I also updated the drive for the WiFi adapter, but it didn't fix the problem.

Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem? I'm beside myself as to what is going on.
[edit]: I've also tried flushing the DNS, and resetting the router to no avail.

Call the hotline. I had this issue a while back. You may have to go in and delete something and reinstall it. That's what the man at the call center walked me through, so that's your best bet. Good luck!
