New Al -Zarqawi tape surfaces
"Alleged tape of al-Zarqawi; boasts of humiliating U.S.-led forces in Iraq
CAIRO, Egypt (AP) An audiotape purportedly by key terror suspect Abu Musab al-Zarqawi boasts in an apparently recent recording that Islamic holy warriors have humiliated the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq.
The audiotape of al-Zarqawi surfaced Saturday, on the third anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, on a Web site known for its Islamic content.

The speaker noted recent battles between American forces and militiamen loyal to a radical Shiite cleric in the holy city of Najaf, indicating that it had been made recently.
There was no way to verify the authenticity of the 45-minute recording or the date it was made. The audiotape surfaced Saturday, the third anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, on a Web site known for Islamic content.
The voice on the tape was similar to that of previous recordings of al-Zarqawi and used a similar style of rhythmic speech. There was no reference to the Sept. 11 attacks in the tape, titled "Where is the honor?"
The tape opened with previously recorded material, including songs and speeches, before introducing the speaker as al-Zarqawi.
"The holy warriors made the international coalition taste humiliation ... lessons from which they still are burning," the speaker said.
The speaker then talked about the July and August fighting in Najaf, saying, "It was not Najaf they were after, but the courageous and steadfast Sunni Triangle." He was referring to a large swath of land to the north and west of Baghdad where resistance to the American-led forces is fiercest.
"This is how they wanted to scare us, by (showing us) those they crushed in Najaf. And this is how the cowards function," the speaker said, claiming that fight served only to prepare U.S. forces to resume their siege of Fallujah.
U.S. forces surrounded Fallujah in April, fighting bloody street battles with forces loyal to al-Zarqawi before pulling back and leaving the city to the so-called Iraqi Fallujah Force, which has since disbanded.
Much of his al-Zarqawi's support is believed concentrated in Fallujah. He is blamed for a string of terrorist acts, including the May beheading of kidnapped American businessman Nicholas Berg. Washington has a $10 million bounty on his head.
The last tape purportedly made by al-Zarqawi surfaced July 7. That tape spoke of killing Berg to avenge Muslims who had suffered at the hands of American-led forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The new tape also appeals to foreign fighters who have traveled to Iraq to join the insurgency.
The audiotape noted the difficulty of foreign fighters coming to join the anti-American insurgency, saying, "The road of a calling has never been full of flowers. But the price of a calling is high, and the price of transmitting principles to the land of reality is a great deal of body parts and blood."
Iraq's neighbors, at the interim Iraqi government's request, have said they would try to tighten up their porous borders to stem the flow of fighters, weapons and money to back the insurgency.
The speaker, whose recording was dotted with poetry and historical parables, often rhymed his words in sophisticated Arabic.
He warned that he and his followers whom intelligence officials have estimated to number at least 2,000 inside Iraq would not give up.
"The whole world must know that our order does not accept slavery, and does not accept to be sold on the market of negotiation. We will continue, no matter how long the road. The issue is greater: It is God, and it is paradise," the speaker said."
