Anyways i couldn't really care less what the hell it's called because i don't care much for the xbox, but if i had to guess, i'd say it would be called something like "X2" or something else generic-ly flashy (if i may use that word).

The codename for the Xbox2 development kits is Xenon so it may be that for the official released console,who knows.

Microsoft wouldnt do that. If they made their next gen console xbox2,it would make it sound inferior to the PS3 and wouldnt sell as much.

Actually, i read that Microsoft is naming it Xbox 2. I saw the first game for it called Dark Sector. And it said "The first game for PS3 and Xbox2

Microsoft can't use "X2" man. They don't want to get sued by the creaters of the X-men movies. Remember X2: X-men United???

Yeah, you read that in EGM.

The reason WHY they used the names "PS3 & XBOX2" is 'cause it's still too early to know what name those consoles will use when they ship, so they're using names that people can read and think to themselves "Oh, these are the successors to the PS2 and the XBOX".

Who cares wat it's named I belive this time the PS3's gonna blow it out of the water.
