Odd case of possible cloning (well more like funny coincidence)

Ok I found out about this not that long ago and figured I'd share it with you (mostly because I'm a bit board). It has come to my attention that there is someone out there that not only has the same last name as me, but also surprisingly resembles me. Now this wouldn't have been as weird if it wasn't for the following facts.

1. He is Seattle Mariners' starting pitcher Joel Piñeiro.
2. The name Piñeiro is commonly found in Spain, not Puerto Rico. (I'm Spanish, he's Puerto Rican)

But just stating these facts isn't enough so here are some pics for comparison.



On the left is your's truly. On the right is my genetically enhanced clone. (I wish I had a better picture of myself looking foward, but this is the best I can do for now)

Anyone else has famous clones?

I definitely see a resemblance, particularly with the nose and lips.

And yes, you could say I have a clone. If you take Nicolas Cage's high school picture, change the hair a little, you basically have a pic of me.

Lol. Look just because the ñ is used in just about every form of the latin doesn't mean the name Piñeiro is common. I had to write a research paper on my name once and it is mostly just found in the north western parts of Spain and Portugal.

when i was young ppl told me i looked just like dukie hazard well i think thats what the name was. he was a child genious that played a doctor in a tv show.

Hey no hard feelings... I love EsPaÑa! but the thing is that all those things I said were in fact true, ok you did a trace of your name and it led back to Spain/Portugal. yea dude... ummm Columbus...

Actually some have told me I look like Jesus (because I have fairly long hair and a beard). Personally I think I kinda look like a cross between Jon Davis from KoRn and Serj Tankian from System of a Down.
