It looks like Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Crysis and Elysium rolled into one.

That being said, It does look really interesting and might be the first game since Modern Warfare 3 to bring be back to the series.

It is by Sledgehammer Games, the guys that brought us MW3.

I'm pretty sure they co-developed part of MW3, not all of it. This would be their first full debut game.

MW3 turned me off to the series with how short the campaign was and how much crap was thrown into MP.

If they can make a new COD game that has a single player game as good as MW2 and MP that is essentially MW1.5, by cleaning out all the crap that has clutter up the series, then I'll be happy. If they can bring the MP back to before thee whole: quick scoping, Marathon+Commando, Akimbo+shotty set-ups then I'll be happy. Or even try and bring back vehicles like in World at War.

They didn't even show gameplay.

Sometimes I wish I liked war based first person shooters. We get so many a year.
It will probably have been 4 years since MK9 came out when MK10 comes out.

Well they did show in game footage. While they didn't show actual gameplay with hud, etc, there where clips where you can kind of tell it's gameplay footage and not rendered in game cinematic.

The part where they show "predator" style gameplay with the Infrared at the 1:07 mark, as well as a brief moment of a player approaching a helicopter at the 58 sec mark and the clip at 2:15 mark with a player on a bridge with a gun that has an orange rectical are obvious gameplay clips IMO.
