Hi. I'm not sure if it's OK to start a thread like this, but here I go.

If anyone is interested in a thing known as YTPMV or Pitch Shift, I do these on my alternate channel. (There's also some random non-pitch shift material, but only sometimes.)

Pitch Shift is basically a way to ruin good music, in case someone doesn't know. It's hard to explain and I'm sure a lot of people here won't appreciate it. But just check it out.

I'm being merciful by only ruining mostly video game music (with a few exceptions).

Edit 2// I just realized that some of these may break your speakers, I guess. Or then it's only me. It's not earrape or anything, it just seems that rendering failed or something.

Rather than close the thread (advertising = no), I edited it so that this could be more of a discussion and allow others to share similar videos they've found/made. With that being said, I made a hyperlink to one of the videos.
Back to the discussion, this is the first time I was aware that stuff like this existed. In any case, if the goal's to ruin good music, good job, I have no idea what I'm listening to, but I can honestly say, I do not like it. smile

I found that one thing about liking any Final Fantasy game to be hilarious especially ahmagawd, moar!

Seriously though, that's super cool it reminds me of the Chopped and Screwed version of some rap songs for some ungodly reasonconfused

Sony Vegas Pro 9. Putting several clips of the video with the sound you are raping the song with (The Oh My God-clip in this case) would make the timing suck since video timing isn't as accurate in Vegas as timing simple sound clips is. So I just record the sound and use it, and if I'm not lazy, I'll put mute visuals of the clip on it. Blah blah blah.

Seriously though, this is an area that, when being correctly worked on, could prove rewarding. At times, this Dopefish/Batshit Pitch Shift editing can actually make music videos better. At least, you can't possibly make that Friday song more annoying so here is a "good" sample.

Yeah, that totally did miss the point of the videos I was producing. That is just barely a video with another video's audio mixed on it (Friday and Dopefish's Amnesia).
