This is very sad new indeed. sad

Some may agree with me or not, but he was one of the U.S better Presidents, and for those old enoguh, a good actor. He will be missed. sad

Even tho he was one of the worst presidents in history, if not the worst, it's a shame to see anyone die, especially the former head of the free world.

Ronald Reagan... the president when I was born. If all US Presidents were anywhere near his greatness, America would be a much better place to live, to travel, to be.


As the second Presidential death in my life (Nixon being the first), this one is definitely a much sadder occasion. Let Ronald's spirit live on!

1. He spent too much on defense, when the CDC needed more funding to fight the AIDS epidemic, and
2. Ketchup is not a fucking vegetable.

That said (and there's probably more), it's always sad to see someone die. At least he lived a long life, although the last decade or so may not have been at full capacity.

Depending on what you think, Ronald Reagan was either a great president or a bad one. Yes, he spent alot on defense, but that was because the government knew that the Soviets would go bankrupt before we would.
Either way, you must admit it was sad that he died. Also, it's sad that he had alzheimers.

Actually the fact that he had alzheimers led to one of the few choices Dubya has made that I respect: he allowed some government funding to go to stem cell research, largely, to my understantding, because of a letter he got from Nancy Reagan, which expressed hope that the new research could improve Ronnie's condition. Guess it's too late for that, but at least some may benefit from it.
